The UAE is all set to celebrate its 54th National Day, and it has been announced that the residents will get a 2-day paid holiday from December 1 to December 2 for both the private and public sectors, allowing them to celebrate the 4-day-long weekend of Eid Al Eitehad fully with their family and friends.
As Dubai is one of the top entertainment destinations for both the locals and visitors, this year the city promises a full-scale extravaganza on National Day celebrations. From Global Village fireworks, the flag garden celebration, a live concert by Emirati star Balqees, entertainment at Burj Khalifa, and traditional food stalls, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while cherishing the festivities of Eid Al Eitehad.
3 Days Free Parking in Dubai
To enjoy all these festivities without any hassle, Dubai has announced free parking during the upcoming National Day holidays.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that all public parking in the Emirates will be free of charge (except multi-storey parking) from Monday, December 1, until the end of Tuesday, December 2.
This means that residents of Dubai will enjoy three days of free parking, as no fees are charged on Sundays as well. Parking fees will resume on Wednesday, December 3.
While Sharjah announced two days of free parking to celebrate the National Day holiday on December 1 and 2. However, not all parking areas are included; zones that normally require payment every day of the week, even on public holidays, will still charge as usual. These paid zones can be identified by the blue information signs.
