This December, Expo City Dubai sets the stage for delicious extravagance with The Festival of Cake. Over five delicious days, you can bake, smell and savour your way through rich buttercream, silky ganache, fluffy sponge, zesty lemon cakes and more.
The festival is brought to life in collaboration with TGP International as part of Al Wasl Season’s One Destination, Every Celebration and features some of the biggest names in the pastry world.
Festival of Cake: A Five-Day Celebration with Celebrity pastry chefs
2nd December 2025 | 6pm – 8pm | 150 AED
This dessert-filled celebration is a true feast for the senses and your camera roll, running from Friday, November 28 to Tuesday, December 2.
Over 25 well-known chefs are heading our way, like Chef Sahar Parham Al Awadhi, MENA’s Best Pastry Chef 2022 and Rich Myer, the creative mind behind the viral UK dessert chain Get Baked.
Discover thousands of tasty treats at the Cakes and Bakes Market, with famous brands like Chocomelt, Magnolia Bakery, House of Pops, The Sweet Life, Dara’s Ice Cream, Cakes by Zoya, Gossip Café, Bake my Day and much more.
Explore deliciously interactive stages: the sweet creation stage, the brew stage and the Sprinkles stage, featuring celebrity chef live demos, fun talk and playful baking battles.
The Cake Picnic, USA-Born Global Sensation
For the first time at Expo City Dubai, The Cake picnic is featuring the original USA-born Cake Picnic, which has travelled from cupcake carts to chocolate corners and now makes its UAE debut, the final stop of its global tour.
No Cake, No way in.
The rule is as simple as having a piece of cake, guests are invited to bring their own cake, whether it’s sponge, chiffon, honey, trifle, upside down, butter cake, or any other, and join hundreds of others for a record-breaking open-air celebration of the art of cake.
Entry is DHs150, which includes access to the grand finale and general admission to the festival on December 2, from 6 to 8pm.

Cake Bake-Off Festival
The Bake-Off Festival invites bakers of all skill levels to showcase their talent and compete for the best prizes in a variety of categories. There is a category for everyone, whether you are a home-baking enthusiast, a professional pastry chef or a junior baker. This is the opportunity to present your best creations to a panel of expert judges, including world-famous pastry chefs, and shine as you share your love of baking with a group of people who share the same interest.
