100 Days Countdown to Ramadan 2026 in UAE

Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Emirates Astronomical Society, revealed that the crescent of Jumada Al Akhirah, the sixth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, will be born on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Jumada Al Akhirah will officially begin on Saturday, November 22, after the completion of 30 days of Jumada Al Ula. With the new month’s arrival, astronomers say the countdown to Ramadan 2026 has begun, as there are less than 100 days until Ramadan 2026 in UAE.

Ramadan is expected to start on Thursday, February 19, 2026, and is likely to last for a full 30 days. If Ramadan runs the full 30 days, Eid Al Fitr 2026 will fall on Friday, March 20. Residents can look forward to a four-day Eid weekend from Thursday, March 19 to Sunday, March 22, filled with family celebrations, giving back to the community, and festive gatherings across the UAE.

During this holy month, people fast from sunrise to sunset and engage themselves in charitable deeds, prayer and mindfulness. Family gatherings and inviting friends for iftar are also common throughout this season. In Dubai, residents and visitors can enjoy iftar at some of the city’s top spots, from luxury restaurants to charming street-side eateries, making it a month of both spiritual reflection and shared joy.

Ramadan is celebrated differently by Muslims all over the world, depending on their culture and region. People enjoy big iftar meals with dates, soup and traditional dishes, which are common in the Middle East. In South Asia, streets are full of colorful food stalls and sweet treats. Special Ramadan deals and offers are available around the world for Muslims so they can enjoy this holy month with ease and joy.
