    Ramadan 2026 UAE Timings: Expected Suhoor and Iftar Schedule, Fasting Hours & Work Hours Update

    The Holy Month of Ramadan is just around the corner. The month of Ramadan 2026 in the United Arab Emirates will start from 19th February, depending on the moon sighting. So, let’s find out the details available regarding the Ramadan timings of suhoor and iftar.

    Expected Ramadan Dates 2026

    The month of Ramadan begins tentatively on Thursday, 19th February, and ends on either 19th or 20th March. The official UAE Moon Sighting Committee announced the override predictions, stating that Laylat al-Qadr may fall in the last 10 nights, on the 17th March.

    Suhoor And Iftar Timings Of Ramadan 2025

    According to the data we have obtained, the early Ramadan Suhoor ends around 5:00 to 5:20 AM and the iftar will be at 6:15 to 6:25 PM. The average length of the fasts from dawn to dusk will be 12-13 hours during the early Ramadan.

    However, as Ramadan proceeds, observers can expect slightly longer fasts as the Suhoor may begin around 4:45 to 5:05 AM and the iftar time will be at 6:25 to 6:35 PM. The average length will increase to 13 to 14 hours during the late Ramadan.

    According to reports, the Northern Emirates will have slightly longer fasts than other cities including Abu Dhabi. You can check apps such as Aladhan for exact timings.

    The weather is also expected to stay moderate in cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as the temperature will remain between 16 to 32 degrees Celsius.

    In cities like Sharjah and Ajman, the fasts will be 15 to 30 minutes longer. You can use prayer apps to get the exact data and live updates as Ramadan nears.

    Working Hours And Public Sector Schedule Change

    Public sector working hours in the UAE will be shortened by two hours daily. The Federal entities will operate from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Monday to Thursday and 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays.

    You can also expect Eid Ul Fitr holidays around 20th March as it will be announced by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation as the dates get finalized.
