    The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confirmed that the holders of all visa types will now be able to perform Umrah on their visit to the country. 

    The ministry claims that this measure is taken to streamline the procedures of visas for people who are willing to perform Umrah. And, this measure will also broaden the access to service within the Hajj and Umrah system, supporting the main objective of Saudi Vision 2030. 

    The ministry has also underscored that the visa could be of any category, including personal and family visit visas, stopover/transit visa, tourist evisa, or work visa, or any other type of visa. 

    The ministry also added that if you want to experience a smooth Umrah journey, you can visit the “Nusuk Umrah” platform and choose a suitable package to get your Umrah visa instantly.    

    This newly launched platform allows the pilgrims to choose packages, book services, and select suitable times and options to visit with flexibility. The ministry also issued a statement to ensure that people who are opting to visit Saudi to perform Umrah will have an enriching, seamless, and spiritually fulfilling experience.

    Does this update apply to all nationalities?

    Previously every country’s muslims had to apply for the specific visa allocated for Umrah to perform the prayer. However, with this new Saudi Arabia Umrah Visa Update, Muslims from every country will be able to perform the Umrah. 

    It is important to remember that the recent measure of easing the Saudi Arabia umrah visa policy is to facilitate the Muslims across the world to perform Umrah with ease and tranquility.

    How long can I stay in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah with a tourist visa?

    The typical time a person who is holding a multiple-entry tourist e-visa is allowed to stay in Saudi Arabia is 90 days. However, a single-entry e-visa permits a maximum stay of 30 days. If you are on a tourist visa, you can perform Umrah according to the new visa update. 

    Is Hajj also allowed under this update?

    No, Hajj is not allowed under the recent update which has permitted all the visa types for Umrah. It is necessary for everyone who is willing to perform Hajj in the upcoming years to specifically apply for the dedicated Hajj visa. The ministry has also stated that those looking forward to performing the annual Hajj pilgrimage can apply for Nusuk Hajj platform. 

    The current announcement regarding the different visa type to perform Umrah white visiting Saudi Arabia is a giant leap forward to showcase Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enable Muslims all over the world to perform their Umrah easily.
