Expo City Dubai in the Middle East organised the biggest all-women’s run She Runs 2025.
It’s a movement that embraces every woman and every story rather than just a race. The 2025 edition once again highlighted its mission to establish a welcoming environment where women can develop, connect and find strength through sport and community.
She Runs returns to Dubai this winter, The Event is organized by Plan B Group and supported by the Dubai Sports Council. The race takes place at Al Forsan Park in Expo City Dubai on November 2, inviting women of all fitness levels to walk, jog, or run in celebration of women’s strength, endurance, and unity.
Now in its 12th edition, the event continues to attract thousands of strong, determined women running for a powerful cause. Last year saw over 5,000 participants, including 2,000 school-age girls, and this year’s turnout is expected to increase by nearly 20%.
Dr. Harmeek Singh described Expo City Dubai as “a city of possibilities”, saying that for many girls the run is more than just a race — it’s the start of building confidence, connection and a sense of community.
The Record-Breaking Moment: Most Participants in the female event
The event made a Guinness World Record this year for hosting the largest number of participants in an all-women’s marathon, One of the Most largest Dubai Run 2025. The run highlighted gathering an exceptional number of women celebrating strength, endurance and unity. Women and girls of all ages and abilities joined in the race categories of 1 km, 3 km, 5 km and 10 km.
Dr. Harmeek Singh, the founder of Plan B and race chairman of She Runs, expressed that “This is not just a record, it’s a revolution”. He shared that women from all walks of life united to show how movement has the power to inspire and transform. According to him, they run not only for themselves but also for their daughters, mothers, and every woman who dares to dream and take action. When women run together, he added, barriers break, hope grows, and the city gains a new heartbeat.
Highlighting Commitment to Community Welfare
By organising special tracks for young girls, Emirati women, and participants with disabilities, the event highlights its dedication to community well-being. Along with the race, the event included wellness seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities, creating an environment that inspired women of all ages and abilities to evolve, connect and feel empowered.
